The first meeting of the new presidium of the ruling Awami League is scheduled to be held Monday.
The meeting will be held at Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's official residence Ganabhaban at around 7pm, says a notification signed by Awami League Office Secretary Barrister Biplab Barua on Sunday.
Awami League President Sheikh Hasina will preside over the meeting, reports Bangla Tribune.
General Secretary Obaidul Quader requested all concerned to attend the meeting following health protection guidelines.
On Saturday, the Election Commission of the party announced Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the Awami League president, and Obaidul Quader was re-elected as party general secretary.
With this, Sheikh Hasina has been re-elected as the party chief for the 10th consecutive term, and Obaidul Quader has been re-elected as the general secretary for the third time.
The Presidium Members are Begum Matia Chowdhury, Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim, Kazi Zafar Ullah, Engr. Mosharraf Hossain, Piyush Kanti Bhattacharya, Dr Muhammad Abdur Razzaque, Lt Col Muhammad Faruk Khan, Shajahan Khan, Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Abdur Rahman, AHM. Khairuzzaman Liton, Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya Bir Bikram, Adv Md Qamrul Islam, Simeen Hussain Rimi and Dr Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin.
