The government has removed Bangladesh Airlines Managing Director and CEO Zahid Hossain (additional secretary) from his post over a recent recruitment test question paper leak.
A top official of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune on Thursday.
Zahid Hossain served as managing director and CEO of the national flag carrier for less than five months.
Shafiul Azim, previously an additional secretary attached to the Cabinet Division, was appointed the new Biman boss.
The public administration ministry issued a notification on Wednesday in this regard.
