As the mercury has started to dip ahead of winter, the lowest temperature of this season was recorded at 12.4°C in Tetulia on Thursday.
The temperature has decreased by about 1-3°C compared to the beginning of this week, reports Bangla Tribune.
Meanwhile, a low-pressure area has formed over Southeast Bay and the adjoining areas. It is likely to intensify, said Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).
In its 24-hour weather forecast, the BMD also said that the weather may remain dry with a temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Light fog may occur at places across Bangladesh during the early morning.
Besides, night and day temperatures may remain nearly unchanged.
In the last 24 hours, the lowest temperature in Dhaka was 19°C, which was 21.2°C on November 13.
