Ferry and launch services on the Daulatdia-Paturia route resumed on Tuesday after remaining suspended for a day because of Cyclone Sitrang.
Md Salahuddin, the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation's (BIWTC) Daulatdia Ghat manager, confirmed the matter.
Earlier, the BIWTC suspended launch operations at 11am and ferry operations at around 4pm on Monday to avoid accidents during Cyclone Sitrang.
The district recorded some rainfall from Sunday night as a result of the cyclone.
The BIWTC resumed the services on Tuesday as the situation had improved, Salahuddin said.
There was no pressure on the route, he said, adding that there were no vehicles waiting at the Daulatdia end to cross the river.
