A 5-day-long fair on diversified jute products organized by the Jute Diversification Promotion Centre (JDPC) will be inaugurated on Sunday.
Textile and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi will attend the inaugural function as the chief guest.
Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles and Jute Mr. Md Abdur Rauf will preside over the function.
The fair will take place from 10am to 6pm every day till Thursday at Karim Chamber, 99, Motijheel C/A, Dhaka.
In total, 33 entrepreneurs producing diversified jute products will participate in the fair which will continue till Thursday.
Different kinds of beautiful attractions and eco-friendly diversified jute products will be displayed and sold.
JDPC has been playing a significant role to popularize diversified jute products at home and abroad since its inception in 2002.
