Six shops in Iman Ali super market situated at Shreepur, Gazipur were burned to ashes on Thursday.
Local businessman Mostofa Kamal said that the fire started in one of the burned shops named Nasir Motorcycle Garage and then other five shops were caught in the fire as well.
An employee of Mawna fire service station Iftekhar Hossain Chowdhury Rayhan said that it took half an hour for the firefighters to douse the fire.
At least Tk50 lakh worth of products destroyed in the fire
However, no one was found injured in this incident.
