China and Bangladesh have pledged to cooperate in the 2023-2027 Culture and Tourism Exchange Programme.
Both the countries signed an agreement in this regard during Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s visit on Sunday, said a press release on Thursday.
The Chinese foreign minister and his Bangladeshi counterpart AK Abdul Momen jointly witnessed the signing between the Bangladeshi Ministry of Cultural Affairs and the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Li Jiming and Bangladeshi Cultural Affairs Secretary Md Abul Monsur signed the document on behalf of the governments.
This exchange programme provides a guiding framework for exchanges and cooperation in the field of culture and tourism between China and Bangladesh in the next few years, the release added.
