The 32nd death anniversary of Freedom Fighter Abdul Rashid will be observed on Saturday.
He was the founder editor and publisher of the Daily Parbotto Barta, a vernacular daily published from Rangamati, and a Senate member of Chittagong University.
Martyr Abdul Rashid was killed by miscreants in while working at his Daily Parbotto Barta media office in Rangamati on the day in 1989, said a press release.
His son Mostafa Rashid Rony and daughter Sara Rashid requested all his relatives, friends and well-wishers to pray for salvation of the departed soul.
