Passengers, required Covid testing, advised to reach airport seven hours ahead

The international passengers required to undertake Covid-19 testing have been advised to report at the airport 7-8 hours ahead of scheduled flights.

The Department of Health Services gave the advice after holding a meeting, a press release said on Thursday.

The authorities made the decision after observing delay in getting the Covid reports due to absence of the passengers in due time.

The passengers will solely be responsible for any complication on getting RT-PCR report as well as for missing flights due to not getting report on due time, said the release.
