Showers likely in parts of Bangladesh in 24 hours

In its evening bulletin the department said the weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country in the next 24 hours.

However, the mild heatwave which is sweeping over Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon & Jessore is likely to continue.

Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to BMD.

The maximum temperature was recorded in Rajshahi at 41.2°C, and the minimum temperature was recorded in Sylhet 22.1°C on Saturday.
