Firefighters doused a fire that broke out at a polythene manufacturing factory in Koylar Ghat area of Kamrangirchar, Dhaka on Thursday.
No casualties were reported so far.
The fire started around 4:30pm.
Four firefighting units immediately rushed to the spot and managed to control the flames after one and a half hours, said Md Shahjahan Shikdar, deputy assistant director (media cell) of Fire Service and Civil Defence.
The origin of the fire could not be determined immediately, he said.
