Bangladesh springing into warmer days after winter’s bite

Days in Bangladesh are becoming warmer as spring makes its presence known following a chilling winter.

The mercury may rise by 1-2°C on Saturday, said the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

Moreover, there is no fear of another cold wave in the country, Meteorologist Md Omar Faruq told Bangla Tribune.

Besides, several areas may see rain or thundershowers in the next 72 hours, the BMD said in its Saturday morning bulletin.

Light fog may occur at some places over river basins during the early morning, it added.

The lowest temperature in the country on Saturday was recorded at 9.7°C in Sreemangal of Moulvibazar.
