Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will address the nation on Thursday evening, marking the golden jubilee of Bangladesh’s independence.
Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar will broadcast the speech from 7:30pm, according to a media statement signed by the Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim.
The recorded speech will also be aired by private TV channels and radio stations.
