The Ministry of Cultural Affairs has requested the citizens to follow the health safety guideline for Covid-19 when visiting the Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka on Sunday, February 21.
The nation is set to observe Language Martyrs’ Day and International Mother Language Day on Sunday.
A maximum of five delegates from each organization and a maximum of two individuals can lay wreaths at the Shaheed Minar at a time on the occasion.
Hand-washing facilities will be available at the Shaheed Minar premises as well.
No one will be allowed to enter the Shaheed Minar premises without wearing a mask, said a press release.
An adequate number of scouts, girl guides, and volunteer members will be deployed to maintain order in the Shaheed Minar Chattar, and hand sanitizers and masks will be provided so that people can enter the premises by sanitizing safely.
If someone does not bring a mask, they will be provided one.
