Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Thursday said the process of releasing fugitives Haris and Anis has been completed.
However, due to a communication gap, Haris’ name and picture are still on the wanted list on the police website.
He disclosed the matter when responding to a question from reporters after attending a program organized by the Nazrul School in the capital’s Moghbazar area on Thursday.
The home minister stated that the Home Ministry had no secrecy regarding the release of the two fugitives.
He also added that the case against Al-Jazeera has not reached the police as of yet.
The home minister said that once the case arrives, it will be dealt with appropriately.
