No one could confirm if he has resumed duty.
Hafiz, constable assigned for security at the main gate of the headquarters, said: “Babul Akter had left the building on foot around 2:15pm.”
DIG AKM Shahidur Rahman of Police Headquarters told the Dhaka Tribune that Babul Akter did not join his work place.
When asked whether Babul went to Police HQ, he made no comments.
