The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has directed the district education officers to provide a list by October 15 of nationalized primary schools teachers who were not included in the gazette.
A letter was issued by the ministry on Wednesday to the director general of the Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) to take effective measures in this regard.
According to the letter, a total of 26,193 primary schools were nationalized in three phases after the prime minister announced the nationalization of primary schools in the country.
Later, the ministry had brought the teachers of those schools under the facility of nationalizations. But some of the teachers have submitted applications to the ministry for nationalizations later to bring them under the facility as well.
In response to this, the PME ministry has sought a list of teachers and their detailed information, whom are included in the gazette list of the nationalized primary schools.
Moreover, the ministry asked for reasons as to why those teachers were not included in the gazette.
