A total of 16 Indian sailors, stuck in Bangladesh due to the coronavirus situation, returned home on a special Novoair flight.
The flight carrying the Indians landed in the Indian city of Guwahati on Friday at 1:18pm local time, said an airport security official.
It was the first time that a direct flight was operated between Dhaka and Guwahati, the capital of Assam, Novoair said in a statement.
On June 23, 19 stranded Indian sailors returned home from Bangladesh on a special flight of the same airline.
