Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain has paid homage to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in Tungipara of Gopalganj.
Ahead of the celebration of Mujib Year, the chief justice placed a wreath at the grave of Bangabandhu on Friday.
Justices of both the High Court and the Appellate Division were also present at the time, among others.
Bangabandhu's birth centenary celebration will start on his birthday (March 17) as time from March 17, 2020 to March 26, 2021, has been declared as Mujib Year.
