Petrol pump owners and workers have postponed their strike for now in Rajshahi, Khulna, and Rangpur divisions after a meeting with Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC).
They will decide on their strike on December 15.
The meeting with BPC was held at the capital's Segunbagicha around 2:30pm on Monday.

He said their next decision will be taken on December 15 after an inter-ministerial meeting in this regard.
Sheikh Nurul Islam, Tank Lorry Sramik Union Khulna divisional president, confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
Earlier on Sunday, the leaders of Bangladesh Petrol Pump Owners’ Association, Tank Lorry Malik-Sramik Oikya Parishad, and Petrol Pump Dealer Distributor Owners’ Association, went on an indefinite strike across the three divisions.
Following the strike, transport owners and Rajshahi, Khulna, and Rangpur division transport passengers had to go through immense suffering as fuel supply remained halted.
On November 26, the associations gave the authorities concerned until November 30 to fulfill their 15-point demand which includes payment of 7.5% sales commission, introduction of accident insurance of Tk5 lakh for tank lorry workers, and an end to police harassment.
