Saturday is the seventh death anniversary of Alhaj Shafiuddin Ahmed, a leading local organizer during the 1971 Liberation War, politician and social worker.
Marking this occasion, a doa mahfil will be held at his village home at Khaishakhali under Shibpur upazila, Narsingdi on Saturday, said a press release.
Shafiuddin Ahmed’s family urges his relatives, friends and well-wishers to pray for the salvation of his departed soul.
