The met office has said that light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Bangladesh.
Khulna, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions and a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions are likely to see moderately heavy to heavy rain.
Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country, according to the met office release issued on Wednesday.

The country’s highest rainfall in the last 24 hours till 6am on Wednesday was recorded at 122mm at Sylhet, followed by 107mm at Khepupara.
The maximum temperature on Tuesday was recorded at 34.4°C at Jessore while the minimum was 22.3°C at Faridpur.
The sun sets at 5.45pm on Wednesday and rises at 5.51am on Thursday in the capital.
