Crane collapse kills one, injures 14 in Patuakhali

A worker has been killed and 14 others have been injured Seven workers in after a crane being used to construct a bridge on the Payra River collapsed. The Lebukhali bridge is being constructed in Dumki upazila. Police identified the dead worker as 22-year-old Sohel from Manikganj, reports Bangla Tribune. "The injured have been taken to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College. Seven of them are in critical condition," said Lebukhali police station OC Dibakar Chandra Das. Lebukhali bridge's project officer Ahammed Sharif Sajib said the reason for the accident was unclear. “The real reason will be known after an investigation,” he added.
