Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, now in Singapore on a four-day state visit, expressed deep shock and sorrow at the casualties in the US-Bangla Airlines plane crash in Nepal on Monday.
Her Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said the prime minister is keeping an eye on the matter as it develops.
The press secretary conveyed the prime minister’s profound sympathy to their family members.
She also prayed for the swift recovery of the injured.
President Abdul Hamid also expressed his profound shock at the deaths in the plane crash, according to BSS.

He prayed for the departed souls of the air crash victims and conveyed his deep sympathy to their bereaved family members.
A US-Bangla Airlines plane flying from Dhaka to Kathmandu has crashed while landing at Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday, killing at least 50 people, an army spokesman told Reuters.
As many as 71 persons, including four crew members, were on-board the aircraft, of which 37 were Bangladeshis, 32 were Nepalis, one Chinese and one Maldivian nationals.
