Student killed in accident at Mirpur

Rakibul Hasan, 19, student of SAIC Polytechnic Institute, was injuredafter the collision took place at around 7:30pm. DMCH doctor later declared him dead at around 9:30pm. Bachchu Miah, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital outpost confirmed it to the Dhaka Tribune. “My son went to buy grocery and was coming back to home. A ‘champion bus’  hit the rickshaw he was riding in Mirpur-10 area at around 7:30pm. After taking to DMCH doctor declared him dead,” said Bahar Uddin, the father of the deceased. The family of the deceased are residents of Mirpur-2 area of the capital and belong to Chittagong.
