Afif Qadri, the teenager killed in an anti-militancy drive in Dhaka earlier this week, died from gunshot wounds, says doctor who conducted the post-mortem examination.
Dhaka Medical College forensic department head Sohel Mahmud said he found “more than one bullet injury mark” on the 15-year-old's body.
Afif's father militant Tanvir Qadri was
killed in an anti-militant raid in Dhaka's
Azimpur on September 10.
His brother and mother are in police custody for alleged militant activities.
Afif, also known as Shaheed Qadri and Ador, died in counter terrorism unit's
raid on a militant hideout at Dakkhinkhan.
Two women had surrendered with their two children. Another woman had come out with a child and
blew herself up, injuring the girl and several policemen.
Dr Mahmud said they collected viscera samples, blood and urine for chemical tests. Thigh muscle, hair and tooth will be used for DNA tests.
