Army chief: AFMC recognised both at home and abroad

“Out of 874 graduated doctors, 323 have already joined the army medical core. Besides, they have also been deployed in the army as well as participating in UN peace missions,” Army Chief General Abu Belal Muhammad Shafiul Huq made the remark during the 14th Council of the College held at the college conference room on Wednesday. “After 17 years of its establishment, AFMC has finally achieved its local and global recognition.” “The primary goal of AFMC has been achieved with their success. Now, it will move further to make more accomplishments in the future,” he added. Currently, 45 students from India, Nepal, Bhutan, China, UK, USA and Canada are studying at AFMC. It allows 10 foreign students to get enrolled in each batch. Some important decisions regarding the college management have been made during the council presided over by the army chief.
