Fire erupts at Kamrangirchar plastic factory

The fire was noticed at the factory on the ground floor of a three-storey building adjacent to the Eidgah ground in Kamrangirchar around 7:31am, reports UNB. Golam Nabi Chowdhury, warehouse inspector of Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) control room, said eight fire-fighting units worked there and brought the fire under control. The origin of the fire as well as the losses and damages could not be ascertained immediately.
