An EasyJet captain and his co-pilot have attracted heavy criticisms after filming themselves playing a Snapchat game while flying a plane – at 38,000 feet – full of passengers, British media said.
Captain Michel Castellucci posted the video on his social media account pilot_flyingnut which he filmed during a flight from London to Madrid on Wednesday, writes
Evening Standard.

According to the news outlet, the clip showed the co-pilot dancing with a cartoon owl created by the app.
Castellucci reportedly captioned the video: “Dancing first officer in cruise doing paperwork.”
He posted another photo where he is seen posing with bear features superimposed on his face, adds Evening Standard.
Neither of the pilots appeared to be “looking at the plane controls in the cockpit during their antics.”
The news outlet cited angry passengers who described the men’s behaviour as “unprofessional.”
A passenger told
The Sun that this kind of behaviour during a flight was “irresponsible.”
A worried viewer was quoted saying that the pilots were not focused on the controls; they were just focused “on having a good time.”
The viewer said that it was “dangerous, unprofessional, and sends out the wrong image,” adding: “high jinks in the cockpit at 30,000ft is never a good look.”
The video was viewed over 6,000 times while it was on Castellucci's social media account, reports Evening Standard.
According to The Sun, Castellucci was flying EasyJet's Airbus A320 aircraft.
An EasyJet spokesman said even though the safety of the passengers was not compromised, the pilots’ behaviour fell “short of the high standards EasyJet expects of its pilots.”
He added that the airlines would speak to the pilots involved in the matter.
