6 Bangladeshis killed in Saudi cylinder blast

Six Bangladeshis, including two siblings, were killed when a gas cylinder exploded in their room in the Ha’il region of Saudi Arabia early Wednesday. Three of the deceased were identified as Emranul Haque Sohel, 34, his brother Imamul Haque Munna, 22, and Md Sohel Rana, 30. All three were from the Chouddagram upazila of Cumilla. Of the other unidentified deceased, one hailed from Feni while the other two were from Noakhali. Victims’ families said the Bangladeshi workers went to sleep in their room on Tuesday night as usual. When the gas cylinder went off, they were killed on the spot.
