Six women who mugged several men after luring them into a hotel apartment with the photo of a charming European lady, were jailed on Sunday, reports Khaleej Times.
The Nigerians, aged 28 to 58, turned the apartment of a deluxe Dubai residential tower into a robbery den and would lure men with an offer to sleep with or be massaged by beautiful Europeans.
They beat up the men and robbed some of them at knife-point. Among their victims were three Arab tourists – a Syrian, 27, and Iraqi, 28, and a Saudi, 31 – prosecutors told the Dubai Criminal Court on September 10.
They confessed during the court questioning and burst into tears while begging for a lenient punishment. The court on Sunday jailed them for one year plus deportation.
Targeted
An Emirati computer programmer said, “At around 1am (local time) on November 25, 2016, the gang passed by me smelling of alcohol and went upstairs. Shortly, a targeted man came down with an injury on his hand.”
A Yemeni sergeant said they were alerted that the gang was operating brothels and robbing men. “The Syrian told us that lights went off and one of the women brandished a knife,” injuring him. They robbed him.
A Yemeni policeman said, “Rescue teams helped smash the door open. We seized notebooks of their proceeds. One of the women stashed the money under her. A policewoman helped extract it.”
The Syrian said a supposed European belle on the Tango social network summoned him for a Dhs600 physical tryst. Upon entering the hotel apartment six African women showed up.
“One of them grabbed my mobile phone while threatening me to surrender my money. They beat me, clenched me and frisked me by force. I pulled out Dhs1,000 and handed it to them.”
The Iraqi said a belle on the same network sent him a friend request and summoned him for a massage. “Six women beat me. I gave them Dhs500. One of them snatched my Dhs650 and $200.”
The Saudi said, “I walked out of another hotel and came across a massage card with a woman’s number. I contacted her. She summoned me for a Dhs800 massage… They stole my Dhs1,500.”
