UK election: Rupa Huq re-elected as Labour holds Ealing
Bangladeshi-born British Labour Party member Rupa Huq has been reelected as MP for the Ealing Central & Acton seat in the UK General Election 2017 with a majority. Labour have held the seat in the 2017 General Election with Rupa taking 59.7% of the vote (33,037) which is a 16.5% increase from 2015. She bagged 13,807 more votes than her competitor Conservative candidate Joy Morrissey.
