Most years Bangladesh celebrates Eid-ul-Fitr a day after Saudi Arabia so it might be speculated that Eid will be on Friday
Eid-ul-Fitr would be celebrated on Thursday in Saudi Arabia, confirmed the Kingdom’s Supreme Court.
The moon-sighting committee of the Kingdom confirmed that the crescent moon marking the beginning of Shawwal had not been sighted on Tuesday.
Eid-ul-Fitr marks the first day of Shawwal month. Since the moon was not sighted, Thursday will be observed as the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr while Wednesday will be the last and 30th day of Ramadan, reports Gulf News.

Qatar has also announced that they will celebrate the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr on Thursday.
Loosely translated, Eid-ul-Fitr means the “festival of ending the fast.” It is marked by a special prayer on the morning of the first of Shawwal.
