An Election Commission (EC) staff was killed and another injured as a pickup truck rammed their bike in Nagaribazar area under Kaliganj upazila in Gazipur on Friday.
The deceased was Md Azmat Ali, 34, while his colleague Uzzal was injured seriously.
"Azmat died on the spot around 12 noon, while Uzzal was rushed to a hospital," Uttara EC official Md Nazrul Islam told BSS.
