350 detained in Jessore, Kushtia

In Jessore, police arrested 286 people during special drives across the district from Friday night to 8am Saturday. Five firearms, seven bullets, 11 cocktails, half kg heroin, five liters of liquor, 184 bottles of phensedyl, 394 pieces yaba tablets and approximately three kg of cannabis were seized during the drives. Additional Superintendent of Police Abu Sarwar confirmed it to Dhaka Tribune. In Kushtia, 64 warranted criminals were detained from different parts of the district. Police seized a local LG, bullets and narcotics during the drive. Additional Superintendent of Kushtia Police confirmed it adding: “The drive will continue till December 7.”
