Diamonds were formed 3 billion years ago, in the deepest core of Earth.

Few famous diamonds
Koh-i-Noor is a white diamond weighing 108.93 carats; the name of this diamond means “Mountain of Light”. Currently it is set in Queen Elizabeth's crown. It is the largest of all famous diamonds. It was previously owned by the Rajahs of Malwa and in the sixteenth century by the Mogul Sultam Babur.
The Hope Diamond is a fancy dark grayish blue diamond weighing 45. 52 carats. It was found in India (1642) but later it was stolen and was set in the royal crown of Luis the 14th.
The Incomparable Diamond was discovered by a young girl in 1989. After cuts the experts created a beautiful yellow-brown stone weighing 407.48 carats.
The Cullinan Diamond is the largest diamond in the world, weighing 3106.75 carats. It was discovered by a mining superintendent in South Africa back in 1905. It was given as a gift to the King Edward VII.
