The Bangladeshi film Under construction has won the ninth edition of International Film Festival Islantilla Cinefórum, as announced today during the closing ceremony of the festival, held in a complex hotel on the coast of Huelva, which is held every year. Filmed in 2015, the film is directed by Rubaiyat Hossain, starring Sahahana Goswami, who also won the award for best actress. The story focuses on a modern Muslim woman struggling to adjust to city life in Bangladesh, and her journey for emancipation against social pressures.
