Daraz launches Joconde

The first high-end professional atelier in Dhaka is now available on Daraz.com.bd

Daraz the leading online shopping platform in Bangladesh, adds another premium label to its collection as it launches Joconde, a women’s couture boutique and the first professional atelier in Dhaka, with all in-house production. Joconde is well known for its innovative designs and chic styles paired with simplicity complemented by its motto, “Love me wear me.”

Daraz.com.bd will be featuring Joconde’s Prêt-à-Porterand Couture line, showcasing a Capsule Collection every week. The label is launching its exclusive brand shop on Daraz called Shop-in-Shop which will extend its visibility and maintain its theme. The launch of the high-end women’s fashion label comes aptly at a time when Daraz.com.bd is coming under increasing demand to offer not only premium and luxury fashion choices for high profile events and cocktail parties but also cater to the working woman with smart and utilitarian business casuals and office-wear.

Russian origin Dhaka based fashion designer Svetlana Dubovska has carved out an innovative fashion house creating new lines of wardrobe for events, cocktail parties, casual and office-wear. After completing technical school in 1998 and graduating from Moscow University for Textile and Fashion in 2004, Svetlana set up her own Joconde atelier in Dhaka, having previously worked 10 years for an Italian fashion brand. She now has two boutiques, one in Gulshan and the other in Uttara.
