Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations of 2016 is likely to be rescheduled, the Education Ministry has said.
Earlier in the day, the exam routine was published on the Education Ministry website. According to the schedule, the exams was to begin from April 3.
However, the ministry website was unavailable hours after the publication of the exam schedule.
When contacted, the ministry's Public Relations Officer Md Saifullah told the Dhaka Tribune: "We took down the schedule as it may be rescheduled due to Union Parishad polls.
"The schedule is being adjusted. The decision on the schedule will be announced within a day or two."
He said the exams would begin in the first week of April.
