Canadian Second Cup Coffee sets foot in Dhaka

Canadian top coffee retailer “Second Cup Coffee” has set foot in Dhaka, says the company in a statement.

After opening an outlet at Banani, it is expected to open more outlets at Gulshan, Uttara and Dhanmondi soon.

Canadian High Commissioner in Dhaka Benoît-Pierre Laramée officially inaugurated the Banani outlet on Monday.

Second Cup Coffee shop offers free Wi-Fi for tech savvy guests, reading corner for book lovers and patio section for open space lovers.

In addition to the café, its product line has also grown from simple whole bean coffee to premium coffees and teas, specialty beverages, frozen yogurt, complementary foods including savory and pastry items and handcrafted merchandise items.

Established in 1975, the global coffee retailer brand has now over 345 cafés across Canada. Over the past 40 years, it has expanded globally to over 30 countries worldwide. The first Second Cup Coffee international regional franchise was established in 2003 in Dubai.
