A multi-purpose robot “Baby,” developed by makers from Bangladesh, was exhibited in Mumbai VJTI Institute technical festival “Makers Square.” The festival was held in VJTI Institute where robots and projects from different countries took part. “Baby” operates from an android mobile phone using an app. The robot is capable of doing household chores like load lifting, floor sweeping, dust cleaning. The robot has been developed by two students of North South University electrical and electronics engineering department, namely Fatin Hasnath Chowdhury and Baized Shuvo. The makers received a special appreciation award for showcasing this robot at the festival.
