Police have recovered a beheaded body of a youth from a suitcase kept on a rickshaw at Sabujbagh in the capital on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Ibrahim Khalil alias Suman, 23, son of Abdul Hai Patwari, hailed from Faridganj upazila of Chandpur, said Sabujbagh police station sub-inspector Solaiman Gazi.
Oliullah, the rickshaw-puller, was detained in this connection.
Following rickshaw-puller’s information, the severed head was later recovered from a house in Wahab Colony of Basabo in Dhaka, said the police official.
