“CareerFest 2015” is a two-day event that will continue from November 14-15 at RAOWA Convention Center in the city's Mohakhali DOHS area. The aim of the event is to create job opportunities for retired armed forces personnel and youngsters of the nation.
Retired Armed Forces Officers Welfare Association (RAOWA) and online job-portal Jobsbd.com are jointly organising the CareerFest programme while Career Development Center (CDC) of Daffodil International University will be strategic partner of the programme.
The career fest will include “Job showcase,” spot interview sessions, seminar, workshop, career guidelines and “Meet the leaders” sessions featuring new job vacancies, resume appraisals, career clinic with skills assessment test, entrepreneur's guidance camp, master classes, panel discussions focused on jobs, entrepreneurship, self-employment, women entrepreneurship and many more.
The organisers are expecting 5000 officers, 50 thousands graduates, more than 20 public-private universities and more than 100 companies.
This career fest will be a meet-up point for job seekers, employers, learners and institutions. The fest will be open for all.
