Hurdco International School organised annual science fair on its premises in Bashundhara Residential Area in the capital yesterday.
Junior schools displayed 48 projects while the figure of high schools is 82, which included models on physics, chemistry and biology.
The students placed innovative models of solar system, wind mills, adaptation and mitigation on climate change there.
Besides, the participants presented a solar city plan a model of refrigerator which could be used in the rural areas.
Automatic window was developed by class-IX students aiming to protect belongings inside any house from sudden rain.
During a visit to the fair, Dr Mubarak Ahmed Khan, chief scientific officer and director of institute of radiation and polymer technology, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission, emphasized the need of motivation to the students for innovation.
