Sei Saat Din
Single-episode teleplay “Sei Saat Din,” written by Sagor Jahan and directed by Shariful Islam Ripon, will be aired on ATN Bangla on Eid day at 5:35pm. The play portrays a love affair between a studious man and a happy-go-lucky woman, who is not serious about anything. Intekhab Dinar, Dolly Zohur and Saberi Alam are among the leading actors.
“Off-frame,” featuring Moushumi Hamid and Rawkak Hasan in leading roles, will be aired on Maasranga TV on the third day of Eid at 8:50pm. Moushumi plays a photographer who meets Saurav (Rawnak) while on a trip to Srimangal and takes his photos without permission. Saurav insists she deletes the photos but Rupa is unwilling to do so. Saurav, an alleged murderer, decides to pretend to fall in love with her and gets closer to her so that he can erase the photos himself. But things do not pan out as planned. The play was written by Tamzid Rahman and directed by Abdullah Al Mamun.
“Kabya Kotha,” written by Bina Alam and directed by Sokal Ahmed, will be aired on RTV at 11:30pm on Eid day.
The teleplay depicts the homecoming of a Bangladeshi expatriate living in the US, who returns after 12 years to apologise to his former girlfriend for his failure to come back in three years, as he had promised her he would.
Sajal and Momo played the lead characters in the play.
Eid special teleplay “Nayika” is a dramatic adaptation of Rabeya Khatun’s story by Abul Hayat, who also directed the play which will be aired on the second day of Eid at 7:50pm on Channel I. The play depicts the struggles of a young mother of two, who finds herself in trouble after her husband dies and her in-laws abandon her. She decides to work in the film industry to change her fate. Abul Hayat, Wahida Mollic Jolly, Intekhab Dinar and Kusum Sikder played leading roles in the play.
Eid special teleplay “Soulmate” will be aired on Banglavision at 11:30pm on the second day of Eid. Written and directed by Imraul Rafat, the play depicts a university student who is more interested in music than study. He gets engaged to a classmate and eventually there were married. However, their conjugal life turns sour when the man fails to establish himself as a musician. John, popular musician from rock band Black, and Tisha were paired up for the play.
Eid special single-episode teleplay “Nijhum Ratri” will be screened on NTV on Eid day at 11:15pm. Written by Mansur Rahman and directed by Shahiduzzaman Selim, the play portrays a young man from a conservative family, who goes a radical change when he comes across a beautiful lady who lives a carefree life. Intekhab Dinar and Moutushi Biswas played leading roles in the play.
