Citibank N.A. Bangladesh has teamed up with United Development Initiatives for Programmed Actions (UDDIPAN) to expand its microcredit disbursement channels in Bangladesh.
Rashed Maqsood, Managing Director and Citi Country Officer for Bangladesh and Md Emranul Huq Chowdhury, Executive Director and CEO of UDDIPAN, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations, says a Citibank press release yesterday.
“Our expanded partnership with UDDIPAN will allow Citi to offer greater disbursement of microcredit to root level farmers,” said Maqsood.
