“RAB has helped Nur Hossain flee to India... the elite force now must be disbanded”
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was speaking while meeting the families of the seven people abducted and later killed in Narayanganj.
“We have specific information that Nur Hossain fled the country through the Benapole border on the night of May 2. He is in Kolkata. My job is to remain updated on criminals’ whereabouts. It is not very tough to locate him since we have adequate modern technologies”
Additional Director General (operations) of the elite force Col Ziaul Ahsan told the Dhaka Tribune on Monday.
“It is often being said some misguided military men killed Bangandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. But, those who wanted to take revenge of the defeat in the liberation war, killed the father of the nation. Such evil persons killed another best son of the soil, Humayun Azad”
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the statement in a discussion and culture programme held at the seminar room in the Public Library in Dhaka University on Monday.
“We have received the High Court order to arrest the three RAB officials. We are taking preparation for the drive to arrest them”
Narayanganj Superintendent of Police Dr Khandaker Mahid Uddin made the statement while talking to reporters at his office on Monday afternoon.
