Indian Bangla film’s superstars Subhashree and Ankush are now in Dhaka for the shooting of Ami Shudhu Cheyechhi Tomay. The film, directed by Ashok Pati and Ananna Mamun, is a joint production of the two Bengal.
The film is produced by Action Cut Entertainment and Eskay Movies. Ananna Mamun informed that if everything goes well, the movie will hit the cinemas this May in both Bangladesh and West Bengal. If their venture succeeds, it will be the first ever Bangla film to be released in both the Bengal on the same day.
He added: “I am very hopeful about the film. I want mass audience to enjoy this film. The film features a unique story.”
The duo, who will be sharing screen space for the first time in this film, has started shooting in Pubail yesterday. About working in this film, Tollywood diva Subhashree shared: “I am giving my cent percent concentration to the film as I always do for each film I wok in.” She also expressed her desire to work in Dhallywood. She shared: “I will definitely work in Bangladeshi film industry if I get a good offer.” Subhashree’s upcoming film titled Game, opposite West Bengal’s heartthrob Jeet, will hit the cinemas this May.
Ankush is very excited to come to Dhaka for the first time. He said: “Dhaka is the birth place of my mother. I am going to bring the spirit of Dhaka to my family when I will return Kolkata.”
