Montu Pal, one of the victims who were burnt during BNP’s 84-hour countrywide general strike, succumbed to his burn injuries at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Friday morning.
Sources said he succumbed to his injuries around 7:45am.
Earlier on Nov 10, Goldsmith Montu, 34, sustained burn injuries when hartal supporters hurled petrol bomb at a human hauler in capital’s Old Dhaka area. He bore 90% burn injuries in the incident.
