University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) awarded certificates of completion to the participants in a skills training course organised by the university.
Professor Brian Shoesmith, Senior Advisor for Strategic Planning, ULAB Board of Trustees, was present as chief guest of the awards ceremony held at the university’s Dhanmondi campus.
ULAB Advisor for Communications and Student Affairs Juditha Ohlmacher delivered the welcome speech while Registrar Lt Col (Retd) Foyzul Islam also spoke at the event.
This year, 102 students participated in the course from June 13 to July 26. The course – titled “Skills for Life” – is an annual non-academic programme of ULAB in which skills and values to be required by the students in their everyday life are taught.
